WNBA Draft date announced
The WNBA Draft will be held on April 9 in Tampa, Florida, according to a WNBA press release.
The draft is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. CST and will be televised on ESPN 2, according to the release.
The Los Angeles Sparks currently have the No. 1 pick and are likely to take All-American Candace Parker, who recently declared she would forgo her final season of college eligibility to turn pro.
