Wimbledon: Sharapova Goes on to the Semi Finals

Sharapova swept through the first set against Dementieva, winning 6-1. In the second set, Dementieva put up a bit of a fight, but at the end of it all, Maria Sharapova beat her fellow Russian 6-1, 6-4.

Currently in progress: Bremond is giving Justine Henin-Hardenne an unexpected challenge. Though probably not enough to guarantee the French player’s victory. The current score is 6-4, 4-3 in Henin-Hardenne’s favor.
