Victory Serves as Wedding Gift for Diaz-Oliva
Mariana Diaz-Oliva of Argentina plans to retire after the Bangkok Open, saying that after fourteen years her body says it’s time to stop.
Following her retirement, she will be getting married in December, and as a wedding gift to herself, the Argentinian defeated Anabel Medina Garrigues 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-4 at the Bangkok Open.
Nothing is quite as sweet as a nice victory before retirement :)
