Vaidisova Defeats Williams at Roland-Garros 2006
Wow, that was tense match. The two were pretty evenly matched in the first set, but then Williams started faulting a little too much, which gave Vaidisova the advantage.
In the end, Vaidisova beat Venus Williams 6-7, 6-1, 6-3, which means she’s off to the semi finals to face Kuznetsova.
Currently, the Hingis/Clijsters match is going on and Clijsters has the lead in the first set at 5-3.
