USA Basketball toys with No. 11 Aggies; blogger laughs
As you’ve probably seen already, the U.S. National Team utterly embarrassed the Texas A&M Aggies 75-24 on Sunday afternoon.
And I’m not being facetious, either. The Aggies — ranked No. 11 in the AP Poll *chortle* — shot 11-64 from the field, including 19 consecutive shots at one point.
Now you may be wondering why I’m posting this particular news in the way that I am. Well, the good people over at Texas A&M and the Big 12 believe we at b5media are just some fly-by-night operation without any journalism behind us. As such, they denied our request to get me credentialed for this game.
Funny, UTSA had no problem credentialing me as a blogger (and admittedly, as a local journalist) for the UTSA-Belmont game going on Sunday afternoon.
Well, A&M… we’re still here, we’re still writing and maybe one day you’ll recognize the value of bloggers.
Until then, you might want to have your players spend some extra time shooting.

Sounds like some negative karma. To make up for it, perhaps the Aggies should hire Dennis Rodman.
