While it might have been fun to watch…

Paul Westhead is not, repeat, not interested in coaching the Seattle Storm.
You can see why he was asked, though (and not just because those reporters in Seattle know what they’re doing, either), since he was the coach of last season’s WNBA champion Phoenix Mercury.

Corey Gaines, come on down?

So USA Today writes that Gaines will be introduced as new head coach of the Phoenix Mercury while the Arizona Republic writes that he “plans to be at a news conference” introducing the new coach.

Westhead heads north to Seattle
