Tennessee wins the national title

In surprising fashion, the Tennessee Lady Vols won their eighth national title and second in a row Tuesday evening.
 
Congrats to them, and since you were likely watching while I was working on highway closures and election results, you know how it happened more than I do.

Stanford “upsets” UConn

While technically, a No. 2 beat a No. 1, it was more 1A and 1B.
Stanford shot very well from the perimeter, moved the ball around and defeated the top team in the tournament on their way to a National Championship berth.
Congrats Stanford.
