Tamika Catchings and Alison Bales got together for a quick game of 3-on-3 with presidential candidate Barack Obama after an Indiana rally. Catchings is still recovering from surgery, so she reffed, but Bales clogged the lane for the Democrat.
No word on how they all played, though.

If your choice is anybody other than my No. 1, then you’re just wrong, but just to keep you waiting, here’s my list in reverse.
5. Iziane Castro Marques, Atlanta.
WHY? This move isn’t likely to pay as many dividends early on as it will in the future. Castro Marques is a veteran player who can […]

Alright, alright, so I’m playing catch-up, but it seems as though we have the server issues resolved.
As you’ve no doubt read already (again, apologies), but the Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun swapped players on Tuesday, bringing local star Katie Douglas back to Indiana for Tamika Whitmore, the rights to Aussie Jessica Foley and a draft […]

Apologies once again for the delays, we’re having some server issues which are preventing me from updating the site in a timely fashion.
The latest news from the WNBA is the Wednesday release of the pre-season schedule. Take a look at it. I haven’t had a chance to take a longer look at it, but hopefully […]

When last we saw some WNBA action, the Phoenix Mercury were celebrating their WNBA Finals victory over the Detroit Shock.

Difficulty: You will not […]

The WNBA schedule is expected to be released today, but still no collective bargaining agreement.
Yep, there’s going to be an OIympic break this season (July 28 - August 27) and the season will go into October to compensate.

Before anything, I’d like to thank Kori for filling in for me these past few days. I had to leave to Minnesota on business and Kori stepped to the plate for me and you, keeping the site fresh.
So while I’m sitting in the MSP airport last night getting some final browsing in before my plane […]

In addition to working as a print and web journalist, I’m also starting to learn photojournalism. I just bought a nice Nikon DSLR last week and have been trying to get used to it more and more. Anyway, I saw this over at WNBA.com and thought you’d like to join in.
Which are your favorite photos? […]

An interesting incident in Indianapolis late Friday as the Indiana Fever announced they did not exercise the option on head coach Brian Winters contract.
Winters was the winningist coach in Fever history, going 78-58 in four seasons. A replacement has yet to be named, but the search is underway according to Fever management.
