Mary Pierce Pulls From French Open
In really disappointing news (for me, anyway), France’s Mary Pierce has decided to pull out of the French Open due to injuries. The player injured herself back in February at the Gaz de France and hasn’t played since.
“I don’t feel 100 percent ready to be competitive at this tournament. I don’t know when I will compete again. I haven’t set a date yet,” Pierce said.
She does, however, hope to be participating in Wimbledon come June 26th.
Mauresmo better not pull out of the French Open, too. I’ll be forced to throw things in protest.
