Kuznetsova Defeats Safina at Roland-Garros 2006
Svetlana Kuznetsova went up against fellow Russian Dinara Safina at the French Open today, and won with a final score of 7-6, 6-0.
That means she’s moving on to the semi-finals to face either Venus Williams or Nicole Vaidisova, who are currently battling it out on the court. Williams won the first set 7-6(5), but the second set looks like it’s going to Vaidisova as it stands at 5-1 at the moment. Guess we’ll see what the rest of the match brings.
