Hingis Defeats Peer at Roland-Garros 2006
In a match that began yesterday and continued today, Martina Hingis managed to come back after her loss in the second set, to defeat Israel’s Shahar Peer 6-3, 2-6, 6-4. Peer played a great game, but still could not beat Hingis in the last set.
Hingis will next be facing world’s number two, Kim Clijsters, now the top seed at Roland-Garros after Mauresmo’s loss to Nicole Vaidisova.
