Golovin Withdraws Due to Injured Ankle
French player Tatiana Golovin was forced to withdraw from both the Bausch & Lomb Championships and Family Circle Cup because of two torn ligaments and a bruised bone in her ankle. The injury occurred on Thursday night during her match against Russian player Maria Sharapova at the Nasdaq-100 Open.
Hopefully she’ll be back in top shape for the German and French Opens which are coming up in May.
