David Stern not confident about Seattle

Henry Abbott was on a conference call with NBA Commissioner David Stern, who said the stadium situation would need a “miracle” to get resolved.
Stern places blame on the Washington legislature, saying they would barely consider extending a tax agreement already in place.
One interesting note: Stern says the teams would live out their lease, so hopefully the ownership group won’t bring moving trucks in the middle of the night.
We’d love to find a way to salvage Seattle and the NBA’s relationship. But if it’s not to be salvaged, then the team will just live out its lease and decide what it’s going to do depending on the outcome of the litigations that are now launched and pending
