Challenge Bell Semi-Finals & Finals
Well, I was a little off with my predictions of the semi-finals. Turns out that the ones who made it through were actually:
Poutchkova (who defeated Jankovic 2-6, 6-4, 3-1 A)
Bremond (who defeated Sucha 6-1, 6-4)
Osterloh (who defeated Wozniak 6-3, 6-2)
And Bartoli (who defeated Perry 6-1, 6-0)
In the semi-finals, Bartoli defeated Osterloh 3-6, 6-3, 6-1, moving on to the finals.
And Poutchkova defeated Bremond 2-6, 6-0, 7-5.
The finals match between Bartoli and Poutchkova was a thing of beauty on Bartoli’s part, with a final score of 6-0, 6-0.
A nice way to win a tournament.
