A little time, a little note, a big difference
Again, apologies for the delay, but let me take a bit of time out for a personal note. Dec. 1 was World AIDS Day, but as you no doubt know, it’s still around for the other 364.
This has been a disease I’ve seen come to the forefront and somewhat forgotten all in my relatively short lifetime. The AIDS pandemic is still real, it’s still a problem and it still needs a cure.
Whatever your politics are, there are people across the world suffering from this disease and it quite simply needs to be stopped. However you can, help. There are people, organizations and researchers that can use your support. Find whichever one works for you.
But to tie this back onto the Court, here’s a note from the NBA about a campaign its players are participating in. But down below, there’s a note about Ruth Riley of the San Antonio Silver Stars traveling to South Africa to help promote HIV/AIDS testing for women.
Kudos to Ruth for taking some time to help out.
