Alana Beard re-ups with Mystics

WNBA All-Star Alana Beard signed a four-year extension with the Washington Mystics on Monday.
Beard played through the pain en route to finishing fourth in the league in scoring and feels that the Mystics — who will be led by full-time coach Tree Rollins — have definitely progressed into a playoff team.

The WNBA Draft will be held on April 9 in Tampa, Florida, according to a WNBA press release.
The draft is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. CST and will be televised on ESPN 2, according to the release.
