Svetlana Kuznetsova has qualified for the singles season ending event in Madrid, Spain. The championship event will be held at the Madrid Arena from November 7th to the 12th.

The $650,000 WTA event in Stuttgart begins today, and the top seeds are Amelie Mauresmo and Elena Dementieva.
Joining Dementieva are fellow Russians Svetlana Kuznetsova and Nadia Petrova.
And joining Mauresmo is fellow French player Mary Pierce.
