Fortis Championships Update

The Fortis Championships are well underway and some of the results from the second round have come through.
Going on to the Quarter Finals:

On to the Fortis Championships in Luxembourg

The Fortis Championships in Luxembourg is a Tier II tournament on hardcourt, with $600,000 in prize money.
Last year, it was won by Kim Clijsters, but this year it’s anybody’s guess.

Kuznetsova Defeats Mauresmo in China Open Finals

 
Well, the China Open is over, and it looks like our world number one, Amelie Mauresmo, got the floor wiped with her by Svetlana Kuznetsova. Final score: 6-4, 6-0. Ouch. What happened, Amelie??
Oh well. Congratulations to Kuznetsova.

China Open: More Results

Yesterday there were some pending matches, so I thought I’d sweep in and put down the results from the matches.
Lindsey Davenport defeated Jie Zheng 6-2, 7-6, and will move on to face Amelie Mauresmo in the semifinals.
Nadia Petrova bested Eleni Danilidou 6-1, 6-2, and will be facing Jelena Jankovic in the semifinals.

Justine Henin-Hardenne Gets Sidelined
