Behold the final score of the Antwerp Finals! Amelie Mauresmo has won again (3-6, 6-3, 6-3). I guess 6 and 3 were the magic numbers of the tournament.
Congratulations to Mauresmo on another great victory and on defeating the world’s number one women’s tennis player.

Amelie Mauresmo, who seems unstoppable these days, moves on to her third consecutive finals match where she will face either Dementieva or Clijsters. In her last match, she defeated Nadia Petrova 6/4, 7/5.
Looking forward to an excellent finals match. Now, to await the results of the Clijsters/Dementieva match ….

Amelie Mauresmo has won her second tournament in a row after beating fellow French player Mary Pierce at the Gaz de France 6-1, 7-6 (2). I bet Mauresmo is feeling pretty good these days. Not bad!
